1835
1625 : Hans Rozendaal is the first known silver smith in the family.
1720 : Jan Rozendaal, a goldsmith, moves from Amsterdam to Hoorn, the jewellery center of Holland.
1835 : Jan Rozendaal starts the Brothers Rozendaal company in Hoorn.

Here the most beautiful pieces were made in gold with rose cut diamonds.

1884 : Johan Rozendaal started his own company and became a competitor of the rest of the family.
In six generations none of the Rozendaal's was a goldsmith, but they made beautiful designs.

1980
Rien Rozendaal, the 6th generation, starts the brand LeChic.
His style is new, his jewellery two tones gold.
He once is called "founder of the Dutch style"
2004
Because of the success, the company was sold to an investment group.

Start of the new brand by Rien Rozendaal and Michele Nijs.
